Questions & answers.

Travel

  • You can fly into San Francisco (SFO), Oakland (OAK), or Sonoma County Airport (STS), a small regional airport. From there, you can either rent a car or Uber.

  • We highly recommend staying in Sonoma Square, aka Sonoma Plaza. Hotels and Airbnbs here can book up quickly, so we've reserved a few different hotels and properties. Check out the accomodations page for details and how to book.

If you want to do your own thing, you're welcome to do that, too.

  • ☞ Welcome party: walkable for those staying near the Square

☞ Ceremony and reception: transportation will be provided

☞ Wind down (El Molino): if you're joining, you'll need to drive or Uber

  • It should be nice! Did I just jinx us? The average high is 83°F/28°C and the average low is 51°F/10°C.

Kids & plus ones

  • Yes – the more the merrier.

  • Yep! Babies and children are welcome at all of our events. We just ask that you keep a close eye on them at all times – our event spaces aren't exactly kid proof.

  • Sure will.

  • ☞ Welcome party: There won't be specific options for kids, but you can bring a snack or order from the restaurant.

☞ Ceremony: We will have fruit, pastries, and juice.

☞ Reception: There will be a kids menu.

  • Care.com comes recommended from our friends in the area and our wedding planner.

Wedding

  • The dress code is garden party. Tie is optional for men. Bright colours, light fabrics, and floral patterns are welcome. For the gals, opt for a chunkier heel or sandal, as the ground is uneven in places.

    Don't forget your sunnies!

  • The buses leave at 8:15am from Sonoma Plaza (the courthouse) – meet at the fountains across the street.

We know it’s early, but there will be a hot cup of coffee (or tea) (or champagne) waiting for you when you get there!

  • The drive from Sonoma Square to the ceremony will be around an hour. 30 minutes of it will be spent on a dirt road through a combination of parkland and private property. Expect a few bumps!

  • Ideally, you don't. But if you do, go back to bed and we'll see you at the reception later that evening :)

  • No, sorry.

Winery (reception)

  • The dress code is cocktail attire, tie optional.

The ground is uneven both outside and inside the barn so we’d recommend wearing chunky heels or boots. It gets chilly at night, so don’t forget a jacket.

  • The buses leave at 8:15am from Sonoma Plaza (the courthouse) – meet at the fountains across the street. Same place as for the ceremony!

  • A short and sweet 10 minutes – just enough time for a beer or two.

  • No problem – just grab an Uber.

  • Parking is limited, so if you'd like to drive separately we recommend grabbing an Uber.

Menu & dietary restrictions

  • Yep. Just make sure to let us know your restrictions or allergies when you RSVP.

Miscellaneous

  • No registry here, folks! If you'd like to help us save for a home (one day lol), we’ll have a wishing well at our reception in the evening.

  • Nap, hike, wine taste – it's totally up to you.

  • Special shoutout to Chris Wolfelt for sharing his talents with us! And also for being the entire reason we met in the first place :)))
